The Los Angeles Lakers lost against the Miami Heat this Wednesday night at the Crypto.com Arena, but the team looked completely off, without energy and giving one of their worst performances with only four scored 3-pointers and 21 turnovers.

In recent days, AD has been optimistic about the team making the most of playing several games this January at their home, but after what happened against the heat, the superstar isn't that sure anymore.

Anthony Davis says that LAL can still take advantage of its home-heavy January schedule to regain its footing, with a caveat: “But if we play how we played tonight, then it’s going to go south for us really bad.”

With recent reports having the Lakers locker room does not have the best atmosphere as the players and coach Darvin Ham aren't on the same page anymore after the extreme team rotation and constantly changing starting lineups, things aren't looking good for the team.

Darvin Ham's job in the Lakers isn't safe anymore

Jovan Buha, via Jason Timpf’s podcast “on the seat warming” for Darvin Ham and his potential firing: “Yes, it is on the table. It’s not gonna happen today/tomorrow, but if this continues with the home stand they have coming up (23 of the first 25 days of January are at home). If they come out of that under .500, potentially even sooner, if you’re 2-3 under .500. The seat warming has started. If we were comparing it to a car, it’s a level 1 out of level 3, but that could easily go to levels 2-3 with another loss or two. It’s championship or bust. They are going to approach the trade deadline with that mentality, but also the on-court product with the coaching/rotations. The seat has started to warm, wouldn’t say it’s hot yet; it’s warming. Some of the body language was bad. The vibes last night were as bad as they’ve been all season. It’s in play, potentially sooner or later with Darvin.”
