With the NBA trade deadline coming this week, the NBA trading market continues to quickly move, and the LA Lakers have been targeting several guards, but Jarred Vanderbilt's recent injury will have him missing multiple games and could even get a season-ending injury, plans have changed.

The NBA insider Mike A. Scotto has revealed that the Lakers have checked in on Danilo Gallinari: "Another player rival executives are monitoring is Danilo Gallinari who’s continued to be a knockdown 3-point shooter while playing minutes at the four and small ball five at times in the final year of his contract. The Lakers are among the teams who’ve checked in on Gallinari’s price tag to acquire him, league sources told HoopsHype."

During all these trading talks, D'Angelo Russell tweeted in support of his teammate Jarred Vanderbilt as the point guard wrote: "Thinking bout my dawg Vando."

The Lakers could stop doing a trade despite Vando's situation as NBA insider Jake Fischer reported: “Lakers guard Gabe Vincent, who’s become included in Los Angeles’ outgoing trade conversations, sources said, appears on track to return by early March.”

Bill Simmons wants LeBron James to be traded to the Warriors

“There’s a trade I really love, and it won’t happen,” Bill Simmons of The Ringer said. “But the most fun trade for basketball is if he gets traded to the Warriors, and it’s Kuminga and Klay and maybe some pick swap down the road. And it’s just, ‘We’ll take LeBron for three months, and then he can declare for free agency.’ Klay gets to go back to the Lakers — his dad played there. And the Lakers get Kuminga out of it.”
