After standing pat in the NBA's trade deadline, LA Lakers GM Rob Pelinka was quick to act in the buyout market by signing the point guard Spencer Dinwiddie. Following the signing, Christian Wood took X to share that he was the one to recruit the former Nets PG.

But Dinwiddie was quick to put that to rest and said that while Wood played a part in his decision it wasn't the one recruiting him but gave credit to LeBron James, and now has even revealed all the Lakers players he spoke to before signing.

Spencer Dinwiddie says that he spoke with Dlo, Prince, Wood, and Rui which made him even more comfortable and welcomed. Says Rui was happy to see him. (They were teammates).

Spencer Dinwiddie is well aware that the Lakers have a target on their back every game that they play. And the L.A. native is more than OK with that. “I'm a big believer in kind of doing what you need to do at whatever time it is."

Christian Wood believes the Lakers will make it straight to the playoffs

Christian Wood says he thinks L.A. can avoid the play-in tournament if they “come back with the attitude to try to stay consistent” after the All-Star break: “I think we’re a top-six team.”
