Michael Jordan to this day continues to be named by most in the NBA world the basketball's GOAT, but he has some tough competition now as the Lakers superstar LeBron James has joined that conversation as the two are often considered to be the two top players of the game.
Funny enough, LeBron James has now come out and revealed how he felt and how was his reaction the first time he met, to what was for him one of his growing-up heroes and even "Black Jesus."
"When I met Michael Jordan for the first time, I literally couldn't believe it was him... The dude looked like Jesus Christ to me... He was Black Jesus to me," said LeBron James when looking back to the first time he met MJ.
LeBron James is now arguably the GOAT of the game, while the vast majority still has MJ as the number one. One thing is for sure, the debate will continue for a long time and maybe once he retires from playing he will become the definite GOAT.
The Lakers superstar LeBron James will be becoming a free agent soon and his future with the team is uncertain as he could wait to see which team selects his son Bronny James in the 2024 NBA Draft.
