Kyrie Irving, Donovan Mitchell, Kevin Durant, Buddy Hield, and Myles Turner are the top names that have been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers. And while no trades have been confirmed yet, sources close to the Los Angeles Lakers have reported that the team's front office has more options, and no doubt the roster will improve.
The Lakers are waiting for a market-breaking move. With training camp just a few weeks away, the Lakers hope to have the roster, with which they will start the season, complete. They also have set this camp as the deadline to trade Russell Westbrook, who appears to be on his way out of Los Angeles even though Lakers head coach, Darvin Ham, has said he is happy to work with him
We will never have the prime Russel Westbrook back. Lakers fans can't stand him any more
Shaq's 4 side chicks are revealed and you won't believe number 1.
After missing the playoffs in the 21-22 season, the Los Angeles Lakers are rebuilding to get back to the level they showed in the not-so-distant 19-20 season when they were champions. Unlike last season when many veteran players were signed, this season the lakers have given preference to young but experienced players (Juan Toscano Anderson, Troy Brown Thomas Bryant, etc.,) to help King LeBron and Anthony Davis return the lakers to glory.
Anyway, the idea of the Los Angeles Lakers is to trade Westbrook and look to make a new big 3 with names like Kyrie Irving, Donovan Mitchell, Kevin Durant, Buddy Hield, and Myles Turner. But in case these potential trades don't happen the Lakers front office has other options according to Los Angeles Times Dan Wokie: "If and when Kevin Durant and Donovan Mitchell get traded, the space to make a Westbrook trade probably opens a little wider with the costs getting cleared," Woike wrote. "Lakers sources insist they have options beyond the ones that have been reported (Irving, Buddy Hield, Myles Turner, and others). Time should better reveal those once the bigger moves get made."
Many people are somehow pessimistic about the upcoming season but in reality, the team's roster has improved. Which would be enough to be in the top 8 or at least qualify for the play-in, in ninth or tenth place. Currently, the Lakers roster is composed by; LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, Juan Toscano Anderson, Talen Horton Tucker, Austin Reaves, Stanley Johnson, Max Christie, Troy Brown, Kendrick Nunn, Wenyen, Damian Jones, Loonie Walker and Thomas Bryant.
