A lot was said about LeBron James entering his year 20 in the NBA, as he was 37 years old but close to turning 38. However, the Lakers star was ready to shut down every detractor who thought he would deliver a bad performance in the campaign like other stars his age before.

But James shocked everyone as he was doing great until he got injured on his right foot. Still, he delivered a great season overall and helped lead the purple and gold into the Western Conference Finals.

The team got swept in the Finals, but LeBron James' numbers compared to his ten-year-younger self showed how good he was in the season.

The 2013 MVP season for LeBron James, at 28 years old, averaged 26.8 PPG, with 57% FG, 8.0 Rebounds, and 7.3 Assists, averaging 37.9 minutes per game. In this 2023 season, James averaged 30.2 PPG, 51% FGs, 8.5 RPG, and 7.1 APG in 36.4 minutes per game.

LeBron James could undergo surgery because of his foot injury

The Lakers star LeBron James played all the postseason run with just one foot as he had a torn tendon, and it has been revealed he could need surgery. James will be revised to see if required; in case he undergoes surgery is reported, he will be back and ready for training camp.
