Shams Charania reports that the NBA and NBPA are "expected to agree on" lowering draft-age eligibility from 19 to 18 in the new CBA. This change could benefit some young talented players, allowing some high schoolers to go straight to the NBA.

This change in the rule could make the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James dream of playing alongside his son Bronny even sooner than expected. Currently, Bronny is 17 years old.

LeBron has spoken forever about this dream of his, playing alongside his son, and now with this rule, even he could play alongside his younger son Bryce James. So the James dynasty can be in the NBA a little earlier than what was assumed.
