The Lakers duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis are one of the most dominant in the league, but ESPN's Stephen A. Smith has surprisingly ranked them lower than expected

With the NBA 2023-24 season starting tonight, many sports analyst have chosen their favorites in different categories. ESPN's Stephen A. Smith has taken First Take to give his top 5 NBA duos ranking.

Smith is known to like the game of Anthony Davis, but he believes he isn't reliable and even has nicknamed the Lakers star 'Six Flags' because he is injured a lot of the time and when he is playing he has ups and downs on his performances.

Because of that, he doesn't believe Anthony Davis and LeBron James are the best current duo in the NBA. Smith has revealed his top 5 NBA duos and stands like this: 1. Jokic and Murray, 2. Giannis and Dame, 3. KD and Booker, 4. LeBron and AD, 5. Kawhi and PG.

Anthony Davis and LeBron James have proved they are the best duo in the league, now is the time to prove Smith wrong and win another championship title that can silence all detractors for good.

The Lakers will face tonight vs. the Denver Nuggets

Tonight the duo of Anthony Davis and LeBron James will face once again the Nuggets duo of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. This time around, the Lakers stars will be fully healthy, unlike the last playoffs where both were playing through injuries.
