The Los Angeles Lakers have turned things around despite some early struggles in the season, as the team didn't have all of their players available because of injuries and several roster changes in the offseason.
But things have improved, including becoming the first-ever In-Season Tournament champions, and a lot of it has to do with Anthony Davis's great performances.
This Wednesday, the Lakers faced the Spurs at San Antonio in their second game of back-to-backs after suffering on Tuesday night a close loss to the Dallas Mavericks where AD had a monster performance but wasn't enough to take the win.
Davis scored 37 points against Spurs in his first faced-off ever with the San Antonio rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama who has been outstanding despite the team having an 18-losing streak following the defeat by LA.
"It’s a great experience. He’s somebody I’ve studied a little bit in the past. Great player of course, and I’m glad I’m going to be able to play so many more times against him." AD had 37 and 10 rebounds while Wemby had 30 and 13. Both will see each other this Friday night as both teams will play against each other again.
