It has opened an opportunity window for many teams to sign the superstar James Harden, Lakers have been one the NBA media believes should go for him

After the LA Clippers didn't make a move to sign James Harden, the superstar PG surprised everyone after the Philadelphia 76ers said they expect Harden to make it to training camp for the next season by slamming the franchise's President of Basketball operations.

James called Daryl Morey a liar, and the NBA world was shocked by this statement, it has become a fallout between the star and the 76ers franchise. Many believe other NBA teams will make a move to trade for the superstar PG.

Stephen A. Smith thinks the Lakers should go for him, and other personalities also believe that the purple and gold could be landing the superstar.

But what the Lakers need to pay for Harden seems to not be worth it for a troubling player. The Sixers want draft picks and an elite player in a trade package for James Harden, according to NBA insider Keith Pompey.

James Harden plan to play for another team and not the 76ers

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, “James Harden’s goal is to make the Sixers so uncomfortable that they just decide that they cannot bring him back.” The Lakers may not go for Harden, as they don't want to repeat the same mistake they did with Russell Westbrook.
