After his great performance with Team USA, Reaves breaks the silence about his doubters

Austin Reaves has proven he is a real NBA talent, still, all his life people have doubted he knows how to play ball, something that has translated to the league, as fans outside of the Lakers Nation believe he is overrated.

Some NBA analysts and fans think that being part of the purple and gold has given the spotlight to Reaves but that he isn't a great player. Austin had amazing performances in the playoffs with the Lakers and so far with Team USA in his two first games has done the same.

This time, after the win vs. Slovenia, Reaves spoke about the detractors and doubters during his whole career as he believes that there are still “a lot” of people in the NBA who are skeptical of his success. He talked to the Los Angeles Times about the matter.

I still really think that there are a lot of guys out there in the NBA that think it’s…a fluke, kinda. But I don’t mind that… It’s just been like that forever. I can’t remember a time that it wasn’t.” Said Reaves.
