Team USA failed at the FIBA World Cup, and now a superteam is being built to redeem its reputation at the 2024 Paris Olympics

The failure of Team USA at the 2023 FIBA World Cup keeps being news, this time one former Lakers champion believes that defensive talent is what is needed and not only a fancy baller.

LeBron James is reported to be building a superteam for next year's 2024 Paris Olympics, and many players have spoken about what the team needs, now The 2020 NBA champion with the purple and gold, Kyle Kuzma has shared his opinion via Twitter:

"USA basketball better get some NBA stars that know how to play a role. Anybody can be nice with the ball in their hands but can you be cool with defending and going to the corner for a few possessions?"

But with the plan of bringing a superteam led by a 'last dance' trio of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry, there will be a guaranteed great team for next year's competition.

Dwight Howard wants to be part of Team USA superteam

Another 2020 Lakers champion, Dwight Howard has also shared his opinion, but he, unlike Kuzma, wants to be part of Team USA and is expecting his invite, otherwise has given an 'ultimatum' of joining the Taiwanese team to defeat them.
