The Los Angeles Lakers had as one of their top priorities to re-sign the Japanese Wing Rui Hachimura this offseason. The forward was one of the players that came before the trade deadline and completely changed the season for the team.

Hachimura had an impressive postseason run, impacting the team and the rivals with his great game and improved jumping shots. But the Lakers' wing has continued.

While GM Rob Pelinka signed Rui for a 3-year 51 million contract, the Japanese star has worked to improve even more. The recent pictures from Japan, where he can be seen practicing with Ham's assistant coach Phil Handy have impacted the Lakers fans.

Phil Handy had an Asian tour last week; his previous stop was Tokyo, so it isn't much of a surprise that knowing how Hachimura likes to stay in shape, he got the help of assistant coach Handy.

Rui Hachimura recently made the first pitch for a Dodgers game

Rui Hachimura's popularity has been increasing, and he had a great season with the Lakers, now dominant in LA, as he recently threw the first pitch in a Dodgers game, and the crowd loved him.
