Even when the former Lakers PG Patrick Beverley talks too much and recently offended the LA fans, he is right about something when saying that they are hard on their players and can get too hard on them. Exactly that happened to the SG Malik Beasley after yesterday's loss to Pat Bev's Bulls.

Malik Beasley gave one of his best performances with the Lakers as he scored 6-14 from three, even when he is known to be more efficient, and the fans haven't let that go and have been pushing them hard with hurtful comments online.

Beasley wrote a heartfelt message for his kid's birthday, but the Lakers fandom used the opportunity to call him out on his lack of aim in his shooting since arriving in LA.

Malik took his Twitter account and wrote a message to those fans that have been hard on him and let them know that he is doing everything he can to start making shots again like he used to do before signing with Los Angeles.

Malik Beasley's message to the Lakers fans

Beasley wrote on his Twitter: "It's my sons bday and I'm trying to enjoy that... obviously I want to be making shots my self. I'm harder on myself then anybody.. laker nation it's only a matter of time. I put in toooo much work not too. I promise when the time to turn up comes, it will come. Let's focus on getting to playoffs. Positively is the only way to move forward from here. Love y'all and just show some respect to me and my family... including @montanayao."
