All in the Lakers' favor; this is the Western Conference after the weekend win vs. the Rockets

The weekend resulted great for the Lakers as they got a win on Friday night and then this Sunday by beating the Rockets to get into the 7th seed in the Western Conference.

But other game results have helped the team to have a realistic shot at getting into the 6th or even 5th seed in the last four games of the regular season.

The Warriors are in the 5th spot with a record of 41-38, while in the 6th place, the Clippers stand with the same record. Then the Lakers have a 40-38, so they are .5 games separated from the Clippers and one game away from the GSW.

The purple and gold have two back-to-back games this Tuesday and Wednesday. One of the hottest games will be Wednesday, as they will face their city rival, the Clippers, who are just one place ahead.
