The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to build a contending team by keeping most of the core from the past season and only having minor adjustments with the right players.

One of them could be the current NBA champion with the Denver Nuggets, Bruce Brown Jr. According to different reports; LA is interested in signing the wing.

According to The Athletic's Jovan Buha, Pelinka and Ham are increasingly confident they can sign Nuggets free-agent wing Bruce Brown for the non-taxpayer midlevel exception starting at a projected 12.4 million.

To do that, the Lakers would be willing to let go of Malik Beasley and Mo Bamba, so the team can land Brown Jr. and retain some cap space.

After the long-time rumors, the still Mavs star, Kyrie Irving, is about to meet with the Phoenix Suns. The PG has decided to play Kevin Durant again instead of trying to win a championship ring by reuniting with LeBron James in LA.
