Stephen A. Smith gives a rant towards Anthony Davis after the latest news of requesting help at center role

The Los Angeles Lakers added the big man Christian Wood to their roster, and after that announcement, the news broke that the star Anthony Davis requested the front office for help at the center role.

In the last two years, Anthony Davis has been playing a bigger role as the team's five instead of his usual four, which is now making him uncomfortable, and that news is triggering the famous ESPN NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith.

Smith used his YouTube show to give a rant against the Lakers star, as he still can't believe the Lakers extended AD for 186 million dollars and now is asking for help at the center while the player hasn't been consistent or stayed in a better shape than LeBron James despite being the younger one and the most talented player at the moment. Smith's rant starts at the 25:55 mark.

"Do y'all know, this dude, Anthony Davis, who is a superstar when healthy and plays his A-game, right after signing the three-year 186 million deal, after he got the damn money, he goes to the Lakers and asks he needs help at the five positions, this is the BS now!" Said Stephen A. Smith, also adding that his inconsistency is crazy, signing for 186 million dollars and now asking for help.

Smith believes that Anthony Davis should be in better shape than LeBron

"This is what drives me crazy, I love Anthony Davis as a person, and I love him as a player when he's on his A-game. But it is an absolute travesty, that this man, consistently finds himself in worse shape than LeBron James. You're supposed to be helping LeBron James, relieving him, letting him know that approaching his 21st season, he ain't got nothing to worry about because you got it. Instead, he's gotta act like he's in its 10 years in the league." Said Smith on his rant against AD after hearing the news on the Lakers star requesting the front office for help at the center position.
