In a recent appearance in "The Lowe Post," Austin Reaves talked about how he is optimistic about a new season with the Lakers. Not only did the guard sign a new four-year $54 million deal, but the team's roster overall got upgrades.

GM Rob Pelinka and coach Darvin Ham brought back last season's core group plus added some new talent and skills with great depth to the roster.

After LeBron's minicamp, Reaves feels that great things could happen for the team this season. Austin spoke about how the minicamp went “Just running over Foundation stuff. Coaches are there, but it’s players ran. The whole weekend was good - we had dinners and it was really just an opportunity to have everyone learn one another & get closer.”

Reaves also believes the Lakers have the most talented roster in the league “I would argue we have the most talented roster in the league from top to bottom.”
