In their last preseason game, the Los Angeles Lakers faced the Phoenix Suns, ahead of the start of the season opener vs. the Denver Nuggets. But the purple and gold and the Suns will face again in Los Angeles next week.

This game allowed the fans to see after five years another face-off between LeBron James and Kevin Durant, but it was with another Laker that Durant wanted to battle with.

The Lakers guard Austin Reaves reacted to a comment from Kevin Durant during a play where he scored and Reaves was the player trying to stop him.

With information via ESPN's Dave McMenamin: "Kevin Durant scored on Austin Reaves on Thursday and shouted out to Lakers assistant coach, Jordan Ott, who was an assistant in BKN with KD: “Don’t have him guard me next week” Reaves’ gave a hilarious response “Bro, what am I supposed to do (on defense)?! … It’s a problem.”

The Lakers and the Suns will face each other next week

Even when the Phoenix Suns didn't play with two out of their three superstars, as Devin Booker and Bradley Beal skipped playing this game and the Lakers had their stars, both teams will face when it matters, the regular season next week for LA's at the home season opener.
