Every player, NBA analyst, and fan has their own opinions on who are the best players of all time. Pau Gasol, who tomorrow will be inducted to the Basketball Hall of Fame has revealed his top ten list and four Lakers players have made the cut.
Gasol was part of the last two championship titles that Kobe Bryant won with the purple and gold, becoming a legend of the team that had him recently receive the honor of seeing his jersey number 16 retired to the rafters.
“Kareem Adbul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitzki, LeBron James, Stephen Curry,” the Los Angeles Times’ Broderick Turner revealed is Gasol’s list.
Pau listed 11 players but didn't hesitate to show love to the purple and gold by including four of their all-time greats. Out of the four Lakers on the list, Pau played with Kobe Bryant.
"You have to acknowledge LeBron’s contributions to the game of basketball," Gasol said. “He’s played 20-plus years and what he has done is pretty remarkable. And you can say Steph is another player that I would put in that category of greatness and uniqueness in changing the game and growing the game.”
