The Los Angeles Lakers lost, this time against the Timberwolves, but before the game even started, there was a reunion between coach Darvin Ham and former purple and gold Matt Ryan.
The team's roster has drastically changed from the start of the season 'till now, and one of the players that at the beginning had a few chances, but for some fans not enough, was shooter Matt Ryan.
Ryan almost didn't have playtime, and the team waived him; still, he made an impact after helping the squad go into overtime on the first game of the season against New Orleans by scoring a buzz-beater 3-pointer.
Later in the season, Ryan didn't have enough minutes, and the team waived him for Minnesota to sign him, and before yesterday's game started, Ham and Matt Ryan shared a moment in pregame where both hugged, and Ryan seemed content with his former coach.
The Lakers needed the win, and only Anthony Davis and Jarred Vanderbilt seemed to understand it; the rest of the team needed a different urgency, and in the end, the effort by AD and Vando wasn't enough.
