Before training camp starts, the reaction of the Lakers rookies to LeBron James

Is not every day that a young NBA prospect gets to meet their heroes, but this time, three of the Lakers' new rookies have been able to meet LeBron James and see his mindset from upclose.

The three two-way players, Colin Castleton, D'Moi Hodge, and Alex Fudge have all met LeBron James, and the Lakers official Twitter account released a video with all three speaking about the moment that they met the superstar.

D'Moi Hodge was impressed as he said "He came up to me like, 'I'm Bron'... Like we know you are!" Alex Fudge couldn't hide his excitement, and Colin Castleton why serious also revealed the key moment of just hanging out.

The young new Lakers that are also part of the South Bay roster are ready to prove they can be the future of the franchise and will be battling for playing minutes in coach Ham's team rotation.

Lakers fans want Castleton with a standard contract

With the Lakers still looking for a center, the in-house solution could be signing Colin Castleton on a standard contract. The Lakers only have Jaxson Hayes sand with what Castleton showed in LA's summer league.
