The recent reports that have the Los Angeles Lakers showing real interest in getting at least one of three Chicago Bulls targets of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Alex Caruso, a trade could see different current Lakers players leaving the team, and for some fans, there are a couple of stars that should be untouchable.

NBA insider Jovan Buha has D'Angelo Russell to make a combination with Rui Hachimura or Gabe Vincent as the trade assets, a deal that could only be made after December 15.

Fans are already been vocal about having Rui Hachimura and Austin Reaves out of that deal, as they don't want to lose some of the most valuable players the team currently has.

Another name some fans don't want to see go, despite a side of the fanbase actually wanting the team to trade him is D'Angelo Russell, who has been critical for the team's wins this campaign and also was a valuable player to make it to last season's WCF.

The Lakers could be really pursuing a trade with the Bulls as the interest is real

“The Lakers’ interest in LaVine is real — at the right price,” Buha wrote. “However, LaVine’s potential availability also hints at the possibility of a fire sale in Chicago, with the organization seemingly looking to finally pivot away from its longstanding mediocrity. If additional Bulls players become available, the Lakers would also have interest in DeMar DeRozan and/or former Laker Alex Caruso, according to multiple team sources.”
