By James Brown
The Lakers need size, even when coach Darvin Ham is stubborn about having a smaller lineup with Dennis Schröder and Pat Bev in the starting five lineups at the backcourt.
Troy Brown Jr. had been in the starting five until Schröder recovered from his injury, but instead of going to the bench, that spot should've gone for Pat Bev, who has been one of the worst players on the team this season.
Instead, Ham has Pat Bev in the starting five with a lot of playing minutes, and Troy Brown Jr. has to jump off the bench, just like against Orlando, and he scored 15 points with only 17 minutes of playtime.
For the Lakers to win against Miami Heat, Ham needs to have Brown Jr in the starting five instead of Pat Bev, but knowing him, that won't happen. Troy will need to step up in the playing time he gets and make good use of his size.
The Lakers forward JTA is finally returning to be available for coach Ham, as he had a long absence after he was out because of an injury. Now JTA will probably be having minutes as AD is out, and LeBron is listed as questionable 'till this moment.
