The Lakers lost two of their starters because they got injured, and HC Darvin Ham had to improvise against the Blazers

The Lakers can't have a game with their complete and fully healthy roster; this time, coach Darvin Ham couldn't have Troy Brown Jr. and Lonnie Walker IV available, so he had to improvise the starting five lineups.

In their place, Austin Reaves and a returning from his three-game suspension Pat Bev became the starters. This time, Pat Bev would be sitting on the bench, but Lonnie's absence helped him be a starter again tonight.

More Lakers news:

Pat Bev has a salary of 13 Million, and he won't be a starter, as he has been awful at the offense and hasn't been great on the defensive side either. So instead, Lonnie Walker, who is getting paid around 6.5 Million per year, and Dennis Schröder, who will reach 2 Million, are the starting options now.

Defending Reaves is backfiring Pat Bev because of shoving Ayton in the back and missing three games because of the suspension now has him soon be on the bench instead of starting. He is also rumored to be traded instead of Westbrook.

Lonnie Walker and Troy Brown Jr. suffered injuries

Troy Brown Jr. and Lonnie Walker suffered a left foot soreness that had them out of the game. It isn't good for Ham, as two of his starters had to miss the entire game. However, the rookie Max Christie will have an opportunity with more playing minutes.
