The LA Lakers have a critical offseason this summer as they want to keep most of their roster, but their plans could change

Earlier today, the NBA world was shocked by the news of the Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving being the one trying to recruit LeBron James to sign with his team to form a new Big Three alongside Luka Doncic and not the other way around.

This has worried the purple and gold, but the Fox Sports NBA analyst Colin Cowherd is advising LeBron James that could hurt the Lakers franchise.

On his show "The Herd," Cowherd spoke about how the Dallas Mavericks are built for LeBron James and how the star could benefit from signing with the team owned by Mark Cuban and playing alongside superstars Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic.

For Colin, it should be a no-brainer for James, as he could get some rest and appear in the most important games, as Anthony Davis hasn't aged well and is looking to be out of his prime, while Luka is right on it, and Kyrie is always reliable on the court. Cowherd says, "I don't know how you don't take that call... It's perfect."

The Lakers should be worried about LeBron leaving for Dallas

Even when it doesn't seem that factible, if the Lakers lose their biggest star, it would be a fatal blow for the next year, as not only would LeBron won't retire but would be playing with one of the strongest teams in the West.
