The LA Lakers have been lost for a while regarding their PGs; they haven't found the definitive one until now

Since the Lakers won the 2020 NBA championship title, they have been looking for a Point Guard to help them win their 18th trophy, but they have yet to be lucky.

The purple and gold need stability in one of the most critical roles in basketball, especially after the failed experiment of Russell Westbrook and the lack of playoff mode from D'Angelo Russell.

Even Dennis Schröder, who has been a solid player for coach Ham's team, hasn't been the starting guard the team needs, as he has been more of a closer.

According to NBA insider Jovan Buha, the Lakers are looking to find that stability with Chris Paul but are willing to sign him only with a veteran minimum contract which could complicate things for LA.

Chris Paul arriving in LA could mean D'Angelo Russell or Dennis Schröder could leave

If the Lakers land Chris Paul, then one of D-lo and Schröder could be leaving LA sooner than expected. Both players could be hitting free agency, but Dennis could have the edge, being a proven vet in playoffs and having a cheaper salary.
