The LA Lakers are running out of options to sign a big center that can help them contend for the NBA championship title the following season.

This time, Bol Bol has signed with the Phoenix Suns, now a former Laker center that has significantly improved his game since playing in Los Angeles, and South Bay has signed with the current NBA champion.

While Pelinka and Ham are still debating which center to sign to complete their roster for the next campaign, former Laker Jay Huff lands a deal with the Denver Nuggets.

After today, the Lakers have two-less important center options gone, Jay Huff and Bol Bol. The Lakers need more options even when they keep waiting. The good news is that JaVale McGee could return, as he will be parting ways with the Mavericks.

Colin Castleton wants an opportunity with the Lakers

The undrafted rookie Colin Castleton has had an impressive Summer League run, and he wants to be the Lakers' backup center and to play as part of coach Ham's rotation. But Pelinka and Ham are thinking of signing another big.
