The first quarter is being played, and the Lakers changed from their usual starting five for tonight, as coach Ham finally allowed Austin Reaves as a starter after a season-high performance on the win vs. the Magic.
Tonight there is no tomorrow for the Lakers if they want to build a winning streak that helps them secure a spot in the Play-In tournament and even climb into the 6th seed to make it straight into the playoffs.
Ham usually had Malik Beasley as a starter, but for tonight decided to make a change and finally listened to the fans and made the needed change.
So far is paying up as Reaves is the highest scorer for the team at the moment with 8 points scored and is already having a rest after his first participation in the game.
There is no denying Anthony Davis has been giving some good defensive performances, but the team also needs his offensive punch that gives them the edge over their rivals. Currently, the Lakers are down by two points but are looking good to change things around.
