The Los Angeles Lakers had an impressive offseason thanks to the work done by GM Rob Pelinka and head coach Darvin Ham, as they changed strategy and carefully mapped out this season by bringing back the core of the last campaign that made it to the WCF.

Some new pickups were chosen by coach Ham as he believes they have potential and were kinda wasted by their former teams. Cam Reddish and Jaxson Hayes fit in that mold.

About Reddish, Ham said “Cam is a guy that I think hasn't had a consistent opportunity. People know what he's capable of. I've seen what he's capable of … in the ECF a couple years ago when he was with Hawks and he played well then."

Regarding Hayes, Darvin stated "Just a live-wire. He's another guy that went through three coaches in four years in New Orleans. Just giving these guys some stability and the opportunity to grow without being pushed and pulled and have a box placed around them.”

A new bromance between the new Lakers

The Lakers center Jaxson Hayes has posted on his IG story a picture with Christian Wood with the caption "My dawg @chriswood5." The centers are showing a new bromance for the team which is great for their chemistry.
