A recent Lakers signing rejected a purple and gold legend to sign with the team and pursue the NBA championship title next season in LA

The Los Angeles Lakers have some specific goals in mind to accomplish this offseason, and GM Rob Pelinka delivered most of them in the first 24 hours of the free agency market.

One of the team's best movements was the signing of the Point Guard Gabe Vincent, who recently played in the NBA Finals after winning the Eastern Conference Finals with the Miami Heat.

But, Vincent had to reject the Lakers legend Pat Riley and the offer from the Heat of 24 million to stay in the Miami to sign with the Lakers and now will be playing alongside LeBron James.

Vincent has praised LeBron James in the past, and also, the deal they signed with the Lakers is a 3-year 33 million contract. The PG helped the Miami Heat make it into the NBA Finals; LA hopes Gabe can do the same with the purple and gold.

Dennis Schröder signed with the Toronto Raptors after the Vincent signing

After the Lakers signed Gabe Vincent and brought back D'Angelo Russell, the PG Dennis Schröder decided to sign with the Toronto Raptors and got a good deal for two years and 26 million.
