Despite the countless mistakes Darvin Ham has been making in the last two years with the Los Angeles Lakers, some things have been good, as the team has made it to a Conference Finals and now the first In-Season Tournament finals.
Even when the In-Season Tournament doesn't have the same pedigree as an NBA championship title, is a good start for the season to win something that gives the team a push.
Not missing at the right moment time-outs, not being able to make on-game adjustments, having some really bad decisions on his team rotations, and benching players on their best moments are just some of the many mistakes Ham has been making in the current season and last year.
Darvin Ham has his flaws but fans can't deny that he can relate with players, putting them in the right spots from time to time, and giving players opportunities. One recent case has been Cam Reddish.
Despite being labeled as the team's third star, Austin Reaves has been sent to have a coming-off-the-bench role, but it has paid off as he was able to be the team's 2nd unit playmaker and his performances have helped the team. Against the Pelicans, Reaves scored 17 points with 5 rebounds and 7 assists.
