It's becoming GM Rob Pelinka's trademark to be silent before making any moves, as the Lakers fans are becoming nervous with all the movements the teams in the West are making but nothing in LA.
The Suns now have Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant, and Devin Booker; the Mavs have Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving; the Nuggets are the latest champions with Jokic and Murray, and the Warriors just landed Chris Paul to pair him up with Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.
But Lakers fans are still waiting for anything to happen, and to make things worst, Pelinka said no big names were coming, and they intend to run the team as most as they can from the recent campaign.
The only movement the Lakers have made before the draft is getting the No. 40 pick in exchange for their previous No. 47 pick and some money. Still, fans hope Myles Turner & Buddy Hield get signed tonight for the No. 17 pick, and Beasley and Mo Bamba.
According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, something big could be coming from LA as he said today, "Watch the Lakers tonight," and pointed to the sky. But fans are skeptical, as the big names are gone, but Trae Young could get in LA still.
