The LA Lakers superstar Anthony Davis is set to return for next season, but his future seems to be away from the team, according to former NBA player Kendrick Perkins

The Los Angeles Lakers, with Anthony Davis, have won one championship title since signing him in 2019. Still, Davis has been out after that title in 2020 due to a significant injury record than helping the team on the court.

Because of that, AD hasn't been capable of showing his best game in the years after winning the championship title and has been a shadow of what he could do in 2020.

That's why he has been a target of harsh critics from the fans and the NBA media, and now, Kendrick Perkins, former NBA player, and ESPN analyst, has dropped a truth bomb on the superstar.

The Lakers shouldn't extend AD; at least, Perkins believes, as he said, “We haven't seen a healthy Anthony Davis in, what, three or four years?”

Shannon Sharpe also believes the Lakers should move on from AD

Another NBA expert is the 'Undisputed' broadcaster Shannon Sharpe, who believes Davis isn't going to fully recover and give the Lakers what they are hoping so. Sharpe thinks the Lakers shouldn't extend Davis and move on to a younger star.
