One of the players for the Lakers 2020 championship roster, Dwight Howard, sat out of last season in the NBA as he didn't find a team for the 2022-23 campaign and played in the Taiwanese Basketball league.
After sitting out of the league for a year, Howard is still looking to return to the NBA, and in the past days it was announced that the Warriors were set to meet with the former Lakers big, which made many speculate that Dwight Howard is close to signing with them, but that's not the case.
According to ESPN's Kendra Andrews, the Golden State Warriors are checking out NBA veteran Dwight Howard just as a regular workout:
"I'm told that the Warriors are looking at this just as another workout, just another guy they're bringing in to get a look at... That doesn't mean he is a member of the team."
Many hoped for Howard to dominate the Taiwanese league, instead, Howard only played for the check, and this was made evident by some recently released highlights of how Dwight didn't make his effort at all.
