It seems that the Lakers' problem for the next season goes beyond the roster that they can build to contend for the NBA championship title

The Lakers fans and organization are desperate for the team to win the 18th championship trophy in franchise history. It has been almost four years since the squad won the 2020 championship bubble.

To contend for the title next year, purple and Gold's GM Rob Pelinka will bring back most of the team's roster with minor adjustments to improve it significantly.

But according to most fans, it doesn't matter if Pelinka was able to sign Chris Paul or bring back players like Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura if Darvin Ham remains the head coach.

Many believed that the weakest link of the last season was the first-time head coach Darvin Ham, despite him leading the team to the Western Conference Finals after a slow start with a 2-10 record. The Lakers Nation wants Ham out of the team, but Pelinka fully trusts the head coach.

The Lakers lost some of their coaching staff to Frank Vogel, and the Suns

The former Lakers head coach Frank Vogel has become the new coach for the West Conference rival, the Phoenix Suns, and two of Ham's coaching staff moved to Phoenix to join Vogel and left the Lakers. Darvin will have to find new members to help him in the team's aspirations for a new championship title.
