It may have been only a preseason game, but the five-year wait was finally over for NBA fans to watch two of the greatest players in the game currently in the league.

Kevin Durant and LeBron James finally faced each other after a long hiatus due to injuries and other circumstances, and despite being a preseason contest, they weren't disappointed.

The Phoenix Suns didn't have their superstar Devin Booker and Bradley Beal on the court, but Kevin Durant was there and scored 21 points to help his team get the win.

LeBron James scored 19 points and showed that at 38 years old he continues to be as great as his younger years and he isn't stopping. James continues to show why he is one of the greatest of all time.

The Lakers had their starting five vs. the Suns

While Frank Vogel is saving his starting five for the regular season, coach Darvin Ham went with his starting lineup and team rotation, despite not having Gabe Vincent and Jarred Vanderbilt available.
