LeBron James became the new NBA top scorer leader of all-time after breaking the previous record held by Lakers showtime era legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, in the 2022-23 season.

Despite showing previous disrespect towards the Lakers and LeBron James in different aspects, today the NBA has shown some love and recognition to the Lakers star.

The NBA has released a new video, after basically snubbing James in their hyped video for the 2023-24 season, with the caption "LeBron James became the NBA's #ScoringKing last season. In Year 21, the journey continues. The @Lakers open the season vs. Denver, on Oct. 24 on TNT!"

The video shows LeBron James' journey to break the all-time scoring record. The Lakers star is entering his year 21 and even when he is 38 years old, he isn't stopping anytime soon and continues to play on a great level close to his prime.

LeBron James continues to be a top-10 player

Despite his age and the young talented new generation that includes names like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, and more, LeBron James has been able to stay in the top 10 of NBA's best.
