The Los Angeles Lakers signed a promising player two offseasons ago, but he missed the entire first year with the team, only to see a comeback in the last campaign to disappointing results.
In the training camp for the 2022-23 season, the buzz had the return of Kendrick Nunn to be just what the team needed. The hype inside the camp got huge, as Nunn only got praise and even coach Ham said it was going to be one of the starters.
Kendrick did start in some games, but his performances were never special and he quickly started to fade away from coach Ham's lineups to the point that he was traded to the Washington Wizards for Rui Hachimura, which was one of the smartest moves by GM Rob Pelinka in the last campaign.
With information by the Greek "Gazzeta" The now former Lakers guard, Kendrick Nunn is still a free agent, and he appears to have interest in the Olympiacos Greek team. The European team is reportedly interested in signing Nunn. The guard has asked Olympiacos to give him at least until the end of August to find a new home in the NBA, something the team has agreed to.
Nunn is coming off a tough 2022-23 season in which the Lakers traded him to the Washington Wizards in January. A change of scenery helped improve his game a bit, but he didn’t get tons of minutes. He ended the campaign with averages of 7.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game on 42.4 percent shooting from the field and 35.4 percent shooting from 3-point range.
