Coach Darvin Ham made a change in the starting five lineup that ended with a victory for the team

Things needed to change with the Lakers, and despite the confusion and skepticism of some fans regarding coach Ham sending the guard Austin Reaves to the bench and replacing him with Cam Reddish in the starting five, at the end of the night it all worked out for the purple and gold.

Austin Reaves understood the change that needed to be done, and it didn't take him by surprise, as he knew it was coming because of his underperformances, but it helped because it brought out the best of the player and was able to close the game to secure the team's victory to return to the winning path.

"I've seen it coming. I haven't played great, and as a team, we haven't played great. ... To me, I respect the fact that [Darvin Ham] texted me and we had a conversation about it." Said Austin Reaves on having a coming off-the-bench role.

“My parents taught me at a young age that the coach is the coach, and regardless of the decision, you respect that.” Austin Reaves added in the post-game presser on his move to the bench, saying 'winning is the main thing.'

LeBron James is the leader that gives his teammates confidence

Not only with Cam Reddish but with all the team, LeBron James is the one trusting his teammates and bringing out the best of them. "With (LeBron) being so willing to play the game the right way, just bleeds confidence into everybody," said Austin Reaves on LeBron's inspiring the group.
