There will always be a debate about who's the best player in the NBA right now. LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo are among the players that could be in this discussion. However, for the Greek player, there's no argument. For him, LeBron is the best man he has been for the last eighteen years. The only question the Bucks player has is how LeBron managed to play for all this time at so high a level.
Giannis is not wrong. Even though LeBron hasn't been that healthy in the last couple of years, he still puts up MVP caliber numbers. Just last season, the ‘King’ averaged 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists in the 56 games he played during the campaign. These numbers gave him his eighteenth All-Star selection. Unfortunately for his team, that wasn't enough to reach the playoffs as they only won 33 games and finished 11th in the West.

The Bucks player still thinks that what LeBron is doing is out of this world, and he doesn't understand how he does it. "It's interesting to me how LeBron is still [in] one of the best shapes [of] his life and being the best player in the world and still being in year 18," Giannis told Marca Basket. “Like, that's really interesting. I want to know how he does that. He's been consistent for 18 years. He's always there. He's always showing up. That's unbelievable.”
Finally, Giannis argues that LeBron should have even more respect for what he has done and keeps doing. He also said that he hopes he can play for as long as LeBron has. “He obviously gets credit, but I think we've got to give him more credit. Doing it for 18 years guys, that's hard. And hopefully, hopefully, I can be there. Hopefully, I can do this for 18 years, 20 years. That's the goal," finished the Greek-Nigerian player.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been one of the most dominant players in recent history. His size and ability have helped him to be one of the players in the current NBA. Not for nothing, he has two MVP awards in the last four years. Only last season he averaged 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists as he was selected to play in his sixth consecutive All-Star game.
