Since Dr. Jerry Buss bought the Los Angeles Lakers franchise and made it one of the best NBA franchises in the sport with 17 championships won, his legacy was mishandled when his daughter Jeanie took control.

The Lakers passed from being a contender team every year with high-end signings and being a complete spectacle to mishandling their two best stars, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, and caring only about the business side of it.
