The Los Angeles Lakers need a size Center like their postseason run showcased, as they suffered from that against the Denver Nuggets and their superstar Nikola Jokic.
When Anthony Davis was on the bench, the team didn't have any big players that coach Ham trusted, and Mo Bamba was injured most of the time, and when available, he wasn't used.
Bamba currently has a 10.3 million annual salary. Still, he demonstrated he isn't Lakers' material, and the Lakers front office could be looking for another more reliable Center, way cheaper, to pursue the next championship title.
Naz Reid currently earns 1.5 million per year; the Lakers could get him cheap, get rid of Bamba, and pursue the championship with just one trade.
While Mo Bamba needs to go, Tristan Thompson should stay for another season, as the size Center has the experience and leads the team from the bench.
