It seems that Zach Levine has some internal competition to be signed by the Lakers, as there is another player that wants to play in LA

The Los Angeles Lakers are having a busy end of 2022, and not only speaking of the schedule they have to play, but the trading situation has changed for them after Anthony Davis' injury.

The Lakers are looking to find him a new home, and now that there are rumors that the Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan will be asking for his release from the team, he is known to want to play in Los Angeles, it could happen.

GM Rob Pelinka had an agreement with DeRozan, but LeBron wished to sign Westbrook instead, which made him lose his opportunity, but the trade could have a second chance soon or the following summer.

Patrick Beverley is another Lakers rumored to be traded

Another player that has underperformed and has been a significant disappointment to all parties is Patrick Beverley, who has been more focused on living the LA luxury lifestyle instead of bringing his A-game to the Lakers.
