With the Lakers making a lot of movements in the free agency, there is one big task pending, bringing a backup center

The Los Angeles Lakers GM Rob Pelinka did a great job on the first day of the free agency market, but the fans noticed that a good backup center still needed to be added.

But by their signings, Brook Lopez is out of the question, as the money will be used to bring back Austin Reaves and D'Angelo Russell.

Tristan Thompson could be the next player to leave the Lakers, as the new target for LA in the center position is another former LeBron James teammate, the vet big man Kevin Love.

Dan Woike said, "The team could look to former LeBron James teammate Kevin Love. (Wow, is this the first mention of James? No one thinks he's retiring, FYI.)"

Troy Brown Jr. has left the LA Lakers

One of the day's surprises was that Troy Brown Jr. had parted ways with the Lakers and is now part of the Minnesota Timberwolves. In his place, LA signed Taurean Prince for one year worth 4.5 million.
