The Lakers are more alive than ever this season, as they have a five-game winning streak with a 19-21 record that could soon be turned around—all that without their superstar Anthony Davis who is out indefinitely.
With the trade window now open this season, the Lakers are set to be looking for a movement that can make them a genuine contender, and one player that has long been linked with Los Angeles is the Piston's Bojan Bogdanovic.
The Lakers could be working on a trading package to sign the 33-year-old forward, and two guards are on the list, Patrick Beverley and Kendrick Nunn. The latter is the most potential one to be traded.
Coach Darvin Ham has continually given him opportunities to showcase what he could bring to the team. After the guard scored a season-high 23 points against the Hawks, it looked like he was going to be better, but against the Kings, he disappeared again.
To get Bogdanovic, the Lakers not only have to give Patrick Beverley and Kendrick Nunn but a first-round draft pick too, and the organization thinks it is too high of a price. So now it is reported for the front office to keep the assets until something worthy comes out.
