The Los Angeles Lakers lost some coaching staff members to the former purple and gold head coach Frank Vogel, who is now taking the Phoenix Suns under his leadership.
But coach Darvin Ham has now given an authority blow by hiring DeMarre Carroll as an assistant coach on his staff, according to information by ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
Carroll worked for Mike Budenholzer in MIL last season. Ham, Carroll, and Bud were all in Atlanta together when ATL went 60-22 w/ Carroll as the starting SF and was No. 1 in the East.
This hiring by Ham is a lesson on how things are done to Frank Vogel. Also, it makes the Lakers fans excited for the team's future and expects Carroll's work to benefit the team's wings significantly.
The LA Lakers faced the Miami Heat in the first California Classics game. The team had a disappointing performance after the new rookies failed to prove their value. The team's shooting was terrible, which is disappointing as it was set to be their best feature.
