The Lakers suffered a loss to see their five-game winning streak to be broken, and Ham's speech won't be liked by the fans

The Los Angeles Lakers just finished their first half of the season with a 19-22 record, which isn't what was expected. Still, coach Ham keeps having optimism that the team on the court doesn't show.

In the post-game presser, coach Ham said that he liked some elements of tonight's game even when the turnovers had harmed them too much, but he continues to think that the team is trending in the right direction.

Ham's speech is dangerous as he has been saying the same thing in the season, but they haven't been able to get more wins than losses. Players like Russell Westbrook give the wrong speech, as he said that it doesn't matter if the team wins, loses, or draws if the unit is having fun.

Coach Ham also spoke about the rookie Max Christie who was able to start for the first time this season as six players have been out due to some injuries.

Thomas Bryant repeats Ham's speech

It seems that coach Ham has been able to sell his speech to his players, as Thomas Bryant repeated the words previously said by coach Darvinafter the game in an interview. "I believe we're trending in the right direction." Said, Bryant.
