The offseason signings for the Los Angeles Lakers are over, the 14 roster spots are filled, and the 15th is available for use later in the season. Christian Wood has been the latest Pelinka acquisition and now the team is ready to go to training camp.

With Wood now being part of the Lakers, the roster is complete at the moment and ready for the regular season, but there's a big that now has seen the door close for him to make a comeback with the Lakers.

The signing of Christian Wood likely signifies the end of Wenyen Gabriel’s time with the Lakers which for many fans is unfortunate as Gabriel always gave his 110% and stuck with the team through the good times and the not-so-good times.

Wenyen has been balling at the FIBA World Cup with hopes of catching the eye of coach Ham again. Gabriel continues to be a free agent and after what he showed last season and is currently in the WC, shouldn't have a problem finding a new "home."

Christian Wood's message excites the Lakers fans

Right after being announced to be the new Lakers center, Christian Wood took to Twitter to write "It's always been my dream to be a Laker," which has excited the Lakers Nation, plus giving hope of putting up the work for the team.
