The Los Angeles Lakers had a successful 2020 season by winning the NBA championship title, and while they built a strong roster trying to repeat it in the 2020-21 campaign, they ultimately failed.
One of the players that signed with the purple and gold and the fans had high hopes for was Paul Gasol's brother, Marc Gasol, and while he had some excellent performances, in the end, he was disappointed alongside the team.
Being from Spain, Gasol currently is playing in his homeland, but not only is he playing in a Spanish team, but he also co-owns it. So even when Marc failed to have a longer run with LA and win a championship title, he is doing great.
Even though his role with the Lakers didn't pan out the way he thought it would, that hasn't stopped him from forging a successful career with Basquet Girona, the team he plays for and owns.
Pau had a different run with the Lakers, unlike his brother Marc Gasol, as Pau won two back-to-back championship titles alongside the late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. Gasol will soon be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and he has chosen Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as one of the legends to introduce him.
